A new system is a big expense to cover all at once. Financing lets you spread it over monthly payments and get the work done now.
About financing
Financing is provided by Foundation Finance Company LLC, not by Sparks Heating & Air. Sparks Heating & Air is not a lender and does not make credit decisions or set rates or terms.

Estimate Terms
This estimate is valid for 30 days and is based on conditions visible at the time of inspection. Pricing assumes the existing system, ductwork, electrical service, gas supply, venting, drainage, and structure are in serviceable condition and code-compliant.
Concealed, pre-existing, or unforeseen conditions discovered during work — including undersized or damaged ductwork, non-compliant venting or gas piping, inadequate electrical service, asbestos, mold, water damage, pest damage, or code-required upgrades — are not included and will be quoted as a written change order before additional work proceeds. Permits, code upgrades, drywall repair, painting, patching, roofing repair, landscaping restoration, and structural modifications are excluded unless expressly itemized above. Equipment availability and pricing are subject to manufacturer supply and may change without notice.
By accepting this estimate or authorizing work in writing, by text, or verbally, Customer accepts Sparks Heating & Air’s full Terms & Conditions, including limitations of liability and warranty terms, which are incorporated by reference and available on request.
Invoice Terms
Payment is due in full upon completion unless otherwise stated in writing. Past-due balances accrue a service charge of 1.5% per month (18% APR) or the maximum rate permitted by Colorado law, whichever is less. Customer is responsible for all costs of collection, including reasonable attorney fees and court costs. Sparks Heating & Air retains a security interest in all equipment and materials furnished until paid in full and reserves all lien rights available under Colorado law.
Warranty. Labor is warranted for 12 months from completion. Equipment carries the manufacturer’s warranty only, which is passed through to Customer; Sparks Heating & Air is not the manufacturer and makes no independent warranty on equipment. Warranty is void if the balance is unpaid, if the system is serviced or modified by others, if filters and maintenance are neglected, or if the system is operated outside manufacturer specifications.
Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sparks Heating & Air’s total liability arising from this work is limited to the amount Customer paid for the work at issue. Sparks Heating & Air is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost income, lodging, spoilage, water damage from pre-existing drainage or plumbing conditions, mold, or loss of use. Customer accepts the work as satisfactory unless written notice of a defect is delivered within 10 days of completion. Full Terms & Conditions apply and are incorporated by reference.

For most Denver-area homes:
- 1-inch filters: every 30–60 days
- 4-inch or 5-inch media filters: every 6–12 months
- Pets, allergies, or smokers: every 30 days
- Wildfire season: check monthly
A clogged filter is the #1 cause of preventable HVAC service calls.
Things you can check yourself:
- Thermostat set to "cool" not "heat" or "fan"
- Dirty filter blocking airflow
- Tripped breaker on outdoor unit
- Frozen evaporator coil — turn AC off for a few hours to thaw
- Outdoor unit blocked by leaves or debris
If none of these solve it, you likely have a refrigerant or compressor issue. Call (303) 521-4037.
Xcel Energy offers up to $2,250 per heating ton for cold-climate certified heat pumps. The rebate scales with system size:
- 1.5 ton system: up to $3,375
- 2 ton system: up to $4,500
- 2.5 ton system: up to $5,625
- 3 ton system: up to $6,750
- 3.5 ton system: up to $7,875
- 4 ton system: up to $9,000
Additional state and local rebates may also apply. All amounts are estimates and subject to Xcel approval. We file the paperwork; rebates are paid directly to you.
That chirp means low battery (or end-of-life for the unit itself).
- Try a new battery first. Most use 9V or AA. Replace and chirp should stop within a minute.
- Still chirping? The detector itself may be 8-10+ years old and at end of life. Replace it.
- Hardwired detectors: still have backup battery. Swap that battery first.
Smoke detectors should be replaced every 10 years.
Safety first: if a breaker is hot to the touch, smells burnt, or won't reset — stop and call an electrician.
Common safe-to-investigate causes:
- Overloaded circuit — too many things plugged in. Unplug a few items and reset.
- Recent thunderstorm — power surges trip breakers. Reset and monitor.
- Specific appliance issue — if it trips when you turn on one device, that device may be faulty.
If a breaker keeps tripping for no clear reason, that's an electrician's job. We can connect you with a vetted Knock Knock Pros electrician — free to find one.
Yes — running toilets are usually a 5-minute fix.
- Lift the tank lid. Look at the flapper.
- Flapper not sealing: rubber gets brittle. Replace it (~$5).
- Chain too tight: chain holding flapper open. Loosen.
- Float ball too high: water keeps filling. Adjust the screw.
If after these checks it's still running, the fill valve may be the issue — that's plumber work. We can connect you with a Knock Knock Pros plumber.
